Dr Dex Khor graduated from University College London in 1999 and became a member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (UK). He spent the early part of his career working in hospitals across London, Oxford, Birmingham, Leicester, and Reading, with a foundation in both general and paediatric medicine.
Upon returning to Singapore, Dr Khor dedicated seven years to KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, where he gained extensive experience across key departments including Emergency, Allergy & Dermatology, Gastroenterology, and Respiratory Medicine. This exposure has contributed to his comprehensive and patient-centred approach to primary care.
Over the past decade, Dr Khor has been practicing as a General Practitioner in various private family clinic settings. He has managed a wide range of patient needs from acute and chronic conditions to preventive care. His four years at an international clinic also gave him the opportunity to care for patients from diverse cultural backgrounds, including expatriate and local families.
He has particular interests in preventive care, chronic disease management, vaccinations, men’s health, and child growth and development. He values open communication with patients and families, aiming to support their health through practical, evidence-based advice.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr Khor regularly volunteers with the Singapore Grand Prix Medical Team and serves as a Part-time Lecturer at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. He recently completed the Certificate Course in Andrology with the Society for Men’s Health, Singapore, expanding his scope to include men’s health concerns.
