Planning an overseas trip? Different destinations pose different health risks, and certain countries require proof of specific vaccinations for entry.

As mandated by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), from 1 September 2025, Migrant Domestic Workers (MDWs) working in households with children below 7 years old who are not vaccinated against measles, must have immunity against measles.

If you have a child under 7 who is not fully vaccinated against Measles, your migrant domestic worker will need to be vaccinated before her work pass can be issued or renewed.

To be fully vaccinated, two doses of the MMR vaccine are required, at an interval of at least four weeks (28 days) between doses.
